The Windflower Prakruthi Resort is about 30 kms from Bangalore city. Being Sunday, driving to this resort from the city center was not a big deal. The weekdays does consumes more time you see.

The Google map came in handy; there was no confusion at all. I have had a nightmare earlier while using the Google map, driving extra 30-40 kms before I reached the destination.

The new airport road was also kind of empty, thank you Sunday. A left turn just before the Mc Donald (the signboard helped me out) will lead straight to the Windflower Prakruthi. It is about four kilometres from the highway, a fun drive.

The joy of driving the car in this four-kilometre stretch is something, which you do not get near Bengaluru. I am not saying there is no such places at all but quite difficult to trace it.

The resort hosted more than one party and so more people. The security near the gate tied us an identification band. Ours was yellow colour while the visitors to other party were wearing different coloured hand bands.

The cake cutting started in couple of minutes. The lunch was also ready at the same time. It was already noon.

I do not want to exaggerate but would like to say that the food was awesome. We had an option of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods. There were at least two types of chicken and fish.

The perfectly cooked extra-long-rice mutton dum biryani was treat to the taste buds. I was busy with my family so no photographs of food here.

Hint: If somebody is planning to host a party in Windflower Bangalore, they need not worry about the quality of the food here.

I got a chance to check out some rooms. They were just average, I do not know how they are priced. My opinion is that they should not be charging more than 4k including the complimentary breakfast. (This is about the rooms I saw).

The Windflower Prakruthi is for children. They will enjoy a lot. There are galore of arrangements for those adventurous also.

The swimming pools are neat. There are two, one for children and one for adults. I guess, the pools are not heated. That means during cold season, the children will freeze.

If you are adventurous, you can have some fun. I saw a rope walk tied up to the coconut trees and a trampoline. Some of them were playing table tennis while others were enjoying swing and slide.

The Windflower Prakruthi is not far away from Bengaluru. In fact, it is nearest than the airport if you want to compare. From the city center, driving to this resort is easier that driving to electronic city.
